Escalating a Service Request





1. Please make sure you are logged into the web platform and then select "Platform Settings" in the left hand navigation menu.

2. Then choose "Workflow Builder" in the left hand navigation menu under "Platform Settings".

3. The Building Operator is the first recipient of a service request upon its submission. Subsequently, additional roles may be added as necessary.

4. In order to include further roles, simply drag and drop the corresponding role name from the panel located on the right-hand side of the screen under the label "available roles."

5. Several roles can be added in sequence to complete a service request. After being initially received by the Building Operator, a service request will progress to the subsequent roles added in sequence. Each role will be escalated in turn until the request is fulfilled.

6. To determine the time in minutes between the escalation of each role, input the desired duration into the box located on the right-hand side of the corresponding role. For example, once the Property Manager receives the service Request, there will be a designated 60-minute period before the request is escalated to the Assistant Property Manager.

7. Upon completion of your Service Request Workflow Builder, make sure to save your work.
